This place is great. Excellent service and well stocked. The staff has given me guidance on several projects and direct me where to go if I need additional resources. I’ve bought a mower, blower and several random smaller purchases. Highly recommend and great way to support local.

Since we are from out of town, we only visit when we go to UAB. Initially a window display lured my husband in to get a product he had been looking for at the big box stores with no luck. We ended up coming out with 8 items, several of which he had been looking for for a good while. Great experience with all the products we bought when we visited! They have products that you can only find in an old time hardware store. We also called several months after our last visit with questions about reorder on a product we were especially happy with that no one offered locally. They checked to see if another was in stock. Said they were out, but would order for us and took our name & number to call when it comes in! Thanks for the great customer service in person & over the phone!!! We will be back again when we are in B'ham!

GREAT! Consistently knowledgeable and always helpful with thinking ahead for anything one might need for the project . Don is carrying on the legacy that is an institution in Bluff Park. For my wife, Debbie, and I our relationship with BPH began over half a century ago when we met Zeke and Tom who helped us with advice and materials to fix up our first home. After they passed the torch to Don, everything stayed the same - friendly, dependable and the best hardware store anywhere!

This place is THE BEST! I was in need of a very specific piece of plumbing to repair a valve in my shower. After maybe two minutes of being inside the store, they had retrieved the new part and had me all set to go. They even cleaned the original (1960s) piece that would be going back into my plumbing setup and gave me some helpful tips that ended up saving me from destroying my shower for good.

This place is the best. I spent an hour at Lowe’s trying to figure out what I needed before giving up. Walked into Bluff Park Hardware with the old attachments for a gas stove that needed replacing and a picture of the connection at home, they pulled what I needed off the shelf, showed me how it all fits together, and I was on my way in less than 15 minutes with clear instructions. Go see these guys. They are amazing!

Love this store. Always knowledgeable folks in there to help me solve problems. Particularly knowledgeable about the plumbing and electrical used in the old Holmes in the area. Always try Bluff Park Hardware before Lowe's or Home Depot!

They are always so welcoming and ready to help me with any problem I have. You don’t get this type of service at the big chain hardware stores. Their prices are better too! BP Hardware gives me peace of mind knowing I can rely on them for advice for all the issues my 1960s BP home throws at me!

There is nothing like a small hardware store with the personal service you won’t get from the larger hardware stores. I have been here many times as it is more convenient and I can get what I need quickly without having to wander around and ask for help. There is a small engine repair shop onsite as well. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Parking can get tricky during the week at lunch time because of the Bluff Park Diner.
